Account & Business Information

• Business name and billing details

Proof Content & Customer Data

• Uploaded files, annotations, comments
• Customer display names (if provided)
• Access token metadata (permissions, expiration, password protection)

Usage & Technical Data

• IP address
• Browser/device information
• Activity logs (views, approvals, comments)

Payment Information

Handled securely by our payment processor; we do not store full credit card details.

2. How We Use Information

We use your data to provide the Service (file storage, annotations, approvals), securely authenticate and authorize users, send email/push notifications, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing

We share data with subprocessors (hosting, email, analytics, payments) only as needed to deliver the service. We may disclose data to comply with law or to prevent harm.

4. Data Storage & Security

Files are stored securely (e.g., S3). All traffic uses HTTPS encryption. Access tokens use secure, randomized strings. Data is encrypted at rest. Report security concerns to security@approvemy.design.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics or performance cookies to improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account, uploaded content, or customer feedback data, subject to legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or limitation of processing. Contact support@approvemy.design to initiate a request.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13.

9. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
